Bikinis Owner Selling Texas City, Kerlin BBQ’s Kolaches, and More A.M. Intel
— Bikinis Sports Bar owner Doug Guller is selling his Texas city, the town originally known as Bankersmith. It’ll comes with a bar and dance hall. He debuted Bikinis the city back in 2013.
— Say farewell to Jeffrey’s pink seersucker-clad valets. The staffers now wear darker uniforms.
— Hooray: everyone can now try Kerlin BBQ’s famous kolaches. The barbecue trailer is making the pastries available for preorders at $4.50 to $4.75 each, with fillings like chopped brisket/cheddar and roasted red pepper/goat cheese, with minimum orders of a dozen. Remember, pitmaster Bill Kerlin is looking to launch a dedicated kolache trailer, too.
— Longhorn fans’ beers of choice are Coors and Miller Lite, according to sales numbers at the Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium at UT Austin. For Austin beers, Uncle Billy’s was the top-seller.
— General Tso’Boy is now offering up family-style dishes like General Tso’s chicken, black pepper beef, char siu pulled pork, and more, alongside its Chinese-American po-boys.
