Our Veteran Owned and Operated Animal Sanctuary welcomes guests for an intimate experience deep in the Texas Hill Country. Tremendous views, award winning wines and exotic animals thrive on our working, family farm. Grapetown Vineyard is home to Fredericksburg’s only winery and giraffe experience with a full bar (liquor, beer and wine) and animal sanctuary on site! Home to Giraffe, Lemurs, Zebra, Kangaroo, Ostrich, Camels, Bison, Capybarra, Mini Cows, Antelope, Deer, Pygmy Goats and a whole lot more. Come and enjoy our petting zoo, feed and take a picture with a giraffe and ride on our tram over 85 beautiful acres! Large groups and bachelorette parties are welcome.
