GIRAFFE EXPERIENCE & SAFARI WINE TOUR
Guests will enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at daily ranch operations while experiencing an incredible Giraffe Experience & Safari Wine Tour. Depending on your ticket selection, you may enjoy a wine tasting, meet and feed a giraffe, then relax aboard our safari-style tram as a guide escorts you around the property. Along the way, you may meet and feed kangaroos, alpacas, goats, deer, possibly pet a camel, and even see a zebra. These animals are part of our extended family—many of them rescued—and their care and stories are at the heart of this experience.
COW CUDDLING
Come out and meet our new micro miniature Highland calf, Pumpkin! Cow cuddling is exactly what it sounds like hugging, petting, brushing, and taking photos with our baby cow! It can be considered a form of animal therapy and is a great way to relieve stress and connect with nature. All ages are welcome! Our cow calf is micro miniature in size, which means that they will mature at about 3 feet tall. We will also include a few of our baby goats, llamas, Mini Zebu, deer and mini pigs to interact with.
ALPACA INTERACTION & WINE TASTING
Come meet our Alpaca Rescues at Grapetown Vineyard! Enjoy Award Winning Wines on a working ranch deep in the Texas Outback. Come and visit Grapetown Vineyard and Farm in Fredericksburg Texas and come meet our Alpacas (plus see some other critters)! As you drive in you will probably see exotic animals like Camels, Zebras, Kangaroos, Bison and Longhorn! They also raise Boer, Ponies, Nigerian Dwarf, African Pygmy and Saanen Dairy Goats, and even some Donkeys. This tour starts and ends at Grapetown Vineyard. Please be on time, and by that we mean EARLY for your TOUR. We cannot wait on you, as it holds up the entire group! Tour starts at Grapetown Vienyard 8142 Old San Antonio Road. There are absolutely no refunds under any conditions.
HOP & SIP KANGAROO EXPERIENCE
Experience “The Hop And Sip Kangaroo Adventure” – where you sip award-winning wines while hanging out with our kangaroo crew and other adorable critters! Plus, spot exotic animals like camels, zebras, and bison as you explore our ranch! Our farm tour is a blast from start to finish – but make sure to arrive early to hop on the fun train! BABY GOAT CUDDLING & WINE TOURS
This tour is for the guest looking to spend some quality time with our goat herd and the newborn babies. You will see, pet and cuddle with our herd of Nigerian and African Pygmy Goats. Each January until early spring our barn walls are popping with baby goats. Some mothers have three or more babies when the ‘kid’. These tiny bundles of joy are born instant acrobats and are so much fun to watch The tour will last approximately 60 minutes. While not part of the tour, on your drive around our property you may also see alpacas, saanen goats, zebras, camels and more. Is It Rain Or Shine? If it is raining, the Baby Goat Experience takes place inside the barn. The barn is not climate controlled, so be sure to dress appropriately for the weather.
